Food Tasting Panel (Mr. Curry)

Today i'll make you all jealous with me. I'be been invited by Ismaya Group to join food tasting panel for Mr. Curry and Pasta de Waraku. Well, in other words, free yummy food.hahahaha.
First, i went to Mr. Curry. As i have been there, twice before. (this is my first visit, and this is my second visit), I really think they have a lot of improvement from the service and the dishes. At this time, i tried some new dishes i never tried before. wohoo!

This Seafood Rice Pizza. I'm not kidding, it was just superb! I totally love it. It was light but buttery. They made pizza from rice, and put squid and prawn with mozarella and mayo on top, then bake it. The prawn and squid weren't overcooked, and the rice was similar with the one in sushi, so it wasn't too solid, but also not too loose.

Nah! This is one of their new menu. Hotate and Prawn Omurice. Hotate means scallops, and prawn means prawn.hahaha. It was rice covered with omelet and butter sauce. If you order this, you may choose the rice, tomato or butter. I choose butter. Damn good! I love butter i love butter i love butter! *that's why i am this huge*hahaha. Maybe it is common to have fried rice covered with omelet, but there's no where you will get this good. :)
Well, i guess butter with rice and omelet are never go wrong, aren't they? So the scallops and prawns were not the heroes.

This is Beef Omurice. The beef was tender and yummy! The sauce was just right, not too salt and not too sweet. The omelet was thin and light.
As the former above, you also may choose the rice. I chose butter. :)

This is Chicken Katsu Omurice. This time I chose tomato rice. And................ i regret. Not because it was bad, but because i love butter more than tomato.nyehehe :p
The chicken was thick, and the flour cover it was even thicker. Maybe this is not the best choice, but still pretty good, moreover for chicken katsu lover. :)

This is Takoyaki (left) and Salmon Roll (right), if i am not wrong. The takoyaki was nice and tender. The sauce was just right. Beside that, the Salmon Roll (pardon me if i', wrong please. :p) , i dont know, because I was too full to eat more. *believe me, this is not often happen, so please mark it.hahaha*

Wait!! I forgot. this is esspresso something.hehe. Sorry i forgot the name, but i remembered the taste.hihi. Just a typical of coffee, smells good. The combination was great, so it wasn't too bitter (i hate bitter) and cool (blended ice).

This is my mango lazzie. As the waiter's explanation, the difference between lazzie and milkshake is: milkshake is not blended, and lazzie is blended. So the summary i got is lazzie is a blended milkshake.hahaha. I thought mango lazzie will be a bit heavy, but i was wrong. This mango lazzie was light and refreshing. It wasn't too sweet and really nice. :)

I was pretty happy to be invited to this kind of event. Hope to be invited again and again and again and again and again!hahahahah.
Big thanks to Ismaya Group. :))

Magnum Cafe

Tommy's back! Today I would like to present the latest project of Ismaya Group. *Oh how i adore Ismaya Group*
The Magnum Cafe is established on early March 2011 as cooperation between Ismaya Group and Unilever. This time Ismaya tried to bring out Belgian-Kingdom-concept and They're succeed!!
As I heard from a trustworthy source, it only will be exist for 3 months. So for you who haven't tried, please make a visit as soon as you can! :p
Since first opened, you always have to pass a crowded long queue line before have a seat. But for a Magnum lovers, it is not a big deal, isn't it? ;)

This is their dining mat. Made of paper. I think it is unique and i love it. hihi :))

They called this Royal Jewel (55K). Consisted of 3 Magnum Ice cream (you may choose the flavor), a kind of snack (i forgot the name, but i am pretty sure they call it egg-something. ;p), strawberry, watermelon, nata de coco, and choco syrup! ;9
So mouthwatering.hihi. I really really really satisfied with this dish. :)
the fruits gave balance for the sweetness of chocolate. slurp!

Court Jester (39K). Well, in simple way, we call it nachos. Yeah, it was corn tortilla chips with sour cream, guacamole, and chilli beef sauce. To be honest, it was under my expectation. The reason i ordered this is because the waitress told me that there's chocolate sauce in it, so i think it was interesting, so i decided to order it. But i found no chocolate sauce here. And the taste was just okay.:(

Well, i am sorry for forget to take a picture about the ambiance. hehe. For additional info, the decoration is superb! Go make a visit now! :)

Little Penang (revisit)

Heyho! Tommy's back. As my owner been so busy and sick for a while, now i could meet you again. wohoo!
well, this is a story when i was at Little Penang (again). I don't know why, my owner seems like crazy of Little Penang for a while.hahaha. If you haven't seen my former visit, just click here.

This is a loveable Mie Udang (28.8K). The curry was nice and light, not too bold. But i guessed i need more saltiness in it. :)

This is Mie Goreng India -Indian Fried Noodles (30.8K). In my expectation, it would be sour and spicy, plus a bit sweetness. The fact is it wasn't. It was just sweet and flat. Nothing special. Fortunately, they gave me 2 half-pieces of lime and chilly paste. They helped me a lot to encourage the taste of this dish. After all, it tasted much better than before. yuhuuu!

This is Nasi Goreng Claypot- Clay Pot Fried Rice (34.8K). It was just an ordinary friend rice which served in a hot claypot. I even almost sure that the rice was just warmed up, not fresh cooked.

This is Mie Teow Chew (30.8K). Well, i guessed this one is the best of all. The noodles was soft and thin. A balance of spiciness and sweetness, smells good and tasty. love it! :)

for the drink, to be honest i never ordered anything else than ambula. and i've showed you on my last post.hehe.
